BOGGS    STABLES

Matt and Leslie Boggs- Lebanon, MO- (417) 532-6552 or (417) 288-8577

Matt and I keep a number of horse of our own, but we also keep many horses for clients that are in different levels of training. In addition to Matt training and showing, his farrier services for gaited and stock type horses are available to clients and the general public. Each success and connection between horse and rider is a very special moment for us. Matt and I have been active and are currently members of Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association, Mid-America Fox Trotting Breed Association, South Central Horse Show Association, and National Breeders Cup. We believe with hard work, honesty, and determination we can produce some of the best trail and show horses out there.

Welcome to Boggs Stables. We are located in the heart of the Missouri Foxtrotting Country, Southwest Missouri. Interstate I-44, in Lebanon, Missouri, makes it easy and convenient to visit the stable. The riding stable contains 11 stalls, turn-out lots for horses, indoor 60 X120 foot riding ring, outdoor riding area, and trails within a three minutes ride from the barn. We are proud to be raising, training, shoeing, and riding the Wonderful Missouri Foxtrotter.

I
n 2003, Matt and I began to change his business from a full-time farrier and breaking colts on the side; to training and showing quality true Fox Trotting horses. Matt has been in the gaited horse business since he was a child watching the foundation horses of this breed show. He began breaking horses and colts for customers in his early teenage years and continued doing it part time until 2003. In 2003 he decided to start shoeing part time and spend the majority of his time breaking and training. His first passion is trail riding, but it is closely followed by showing. Our first show mare back in the arena was a 2 year old palomino, Sun-Ray's Susie Cue.

Matt showed her during her 2 and 3 year old years. I showed her during her 4 and 5 year old years; in Ametaur, Ladies, and English Pleasure Classes. Susie was bred to Big Mac's Silverado during her last show season, and gave us a beautiful filly this May. Matt currently shows for many different clients and continues to put his name in the arena.
